Bucephalandra sp. Dark Brown

It is quite big bucephalandra from North Borneo. Its size is similar to the Dark Achilles size.

It has also similar to Achilles visible veins on the back side of the leaf.

Colour of the leaves is dark green with blue tint. This species has unusual shape of the leaf resembling the shape of a peacock feather.

Bucephalandra sp. Kedagang

Kedagang is one of the earliest discovered Bucephalandra and still considered as one of the most beautiful variety. It is medium-sized. It is characterized by slightly wavy leaves of incredible colors. Red core of plant contrasts well with a dark blue color of older leaves. Young leaves are yelowish, with a red tint. Over time, the leaves become darker to give a dark blue sheen. The variety known to be one of the faster growing.

Bucephalandra sp. Mini Catherinae

If you are looking for the smallest Bucephalandra, this variety is for you. Long, wavy leaves looks greate in bigger clump. Old leaves are dark green with blue tint, young leaves are reddish.

Bucephalandra sp. Pearl Grey

It is one of the oldest Bucephalandra. It has that name because on the leaves many shining dots are highly deployed, and thus leaves look gray. This variety can not to be confused with any other, but it is similar to Dark Grey. Its leaves are much smaller than a Dark Grey's leaves and they are brighter.

Bucephalandra sp. Dark Grey

This variation looks similar to Pearl Grey, but its leaves are bigger and darker. In my opinion it looks nicer. Old leaves can be realy big. Its leaves are also similar to Semadang's leaves but Dark Grey leaves are more elastic and green color is not so dark/bluish as on Semadang's leaves.

Bucephalandra sp. Metalic Wave

Its oblong and wavy at the edges leaves look interesting. Leaves are very narrow, only 4-5 mm in width. One of my oldest Bucephalandra.

Bucephalandra sp. Red Gaia

I do not know why in that name the word "Red" is. I guess it's about red bottoms of the leaf. Leaves of Red Gaia are only green, but the bright green shining looks very nice. It is low and creeping specimen.

Bucephalandra sp. Black Carpet

It is small-sized variety. I heard that when it was found for the first time it was so dirty that it looked like a black carpet. But leaves are not black, they are dark green with a blue tint. Its young leaves are yelowish with a red tint.

Bucephalandra sp. Bob Marley

If you've seen Bob Marley's dreadlocks, then you will guess origin of the name for this variety. Dark green and long leaves are very curly.

It is small-sized variety, but at its leaves you can see many shining dots.

Bucephalandra sp. Aegis

It is quite big bucephalandra, but not the biggest one. Fast rate of growth makes that it produce many new seedlings and if you not trim it then Aegis can grow irregular. Blue tint of the leaf and vein is visible only at the bottom of leaf.

Bucephalandra sp. Odin

It is middle sized variety. Its characteristic feature is blood red stems and curiously jagged edge of the leaf.

Bucephalandra sp. Copi Susu

The great Copi Susu stimulates the imagination. Its old leaves are dark green with bluish tint, but young leaves are like the icing on the cake. We all are waiting for them - they are incredibly colorful.

At the begginings I thought that it is a small variety and rate of growth is slow. But after one year its leaves was bigger and bigger. Now I could say that it is quite fast growing and a medium sized variety.
Pretty flower is the another interesting feature of Copi Susu. Copi susu often blooms in my tanks. From the outside flowers are yellowish, but inside they are pure white.

Bucephalandra sp. Super Blue

Super Blue is one of the most interesting colored variety. Blue leaf veins are intensely stained. Young leaves are reddish. This is quite big bucephalandra. It can grow to about 20 cm in height.

Bucephalandra sp. Brilliant Jade

This small and very delicate variety has amazing multi-colored leaves. An interesting is also the shape of the leaves that resembles a Copi Susu variety.

Bucephalandra sp. Batang Kawa

Oldschooled Bucephalandra. It is hard to describe what colour leaves are. It is color of a dark coffee and they are also matte. This specimen looks realy black.

Bucephalandra sp. Paris

A small, gorgeous specimen. Turquoise leaves,  contrasting with young reddish leaves and bright green shine looks fabulous.
The eye-catching thick central vein of the leaf is a characteristic feature.

SIZE: Mature leaves have got about 4.5 cm length and 1.5 cm width. Single seedling has got about 9-10 cm height.

RATE OF GROWTH: in my tank 3 leaves per month

Bucephalandra sp. Kualakuayan 2

It's one of the oldest Bucephalandra introduced to the aquariums. Beautiful medium-sized variety. The leaves are big, elastic, in the shape of a water drop, slightly wavy on the edges, dark green.

New leaves are reddish, darken with time and get bright green colour. Old leaves are dark green and have got well visible blue tint.

Kualakuayan 2 often flourishes in my tank, sometimes creating a few flowers within a single parent plant.

Bucephalandra sp. Kualakuayan 1

A small specimen, one of the oldest Bucephalandra introduced to the aquariums. Simple, straight and small leaves (but very unique) make that I wouldn't confuse it with any other varieties.

The delicate, blue tint renders the feeling of pleasure, while looking on it.

Bucephalandra sp. Narcissus I, II, III

The Narcissus can be divided between three species and each one of them is different. They differ from each other when it comes to the size and shape of the leaves. I heard that they have pink and pointy flowers, but they have never bloomed in my tank yet.

NARCISSUS I - in my opinion it is most beautyful of all Narcissists. The leaves are slightly curly. Young leaves are yelowish, darken with time and turns red. The old leaves are blue.

NARCISSUS II - the biggest of the Narcissus. The oblong, oval leaves are bluish, but they are not so curly like Narcissus I.

NARCISSUS III - the smallest one. The leaves are dark green, with a subtle blue sheen.
